Job summary

Mission Hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager for Cardiac Progressive Care. Responsible for daily operations, budgeting and quality leadership in a high-acuity cardiac unit. Leads clinical teams, ensures regulatory compliance, and advances evidence-based practice.

The role requires a BSN (or equivalent), Master’s preferred, NC RN license (eNLC may apply), and national certification within 1 year. BLS is required, with opportunity for growth.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with MSN or BA with MSN.
• Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN licensure in NC; eNLC may apply.
• National certification in specialty within 1 year of role.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience; 2 years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the designated clinical area (Cardiac Progressive Care).
• Leads supervision, coordination of clinical care, and resource allocation.
• Partners with nursing leadership for planning, initiatives, and staff development.
• Recruits and mentors staff to uphold Mission Health standards.
