The ideal candidate holds a BSN, a current NM or compact license, and has at least one year of clinical experience. Specialty certification is preferred, with a strong grasp of governance, data interpretation, and financial resources.

Qualifications

• Current State of New Mexico or compact nursing license required.
• BSN degree required.
• 1 year experience in clinical area.
• Specialty certification in area of practice and/or management preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing standards, shared governance, and data interpretation.
• Understanding of HR issues, operational budget, and financial resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for designated units.
• Plan, implement and coordinate operational, financial and personnel activities.
• Maintain hands-on unit presence and direction to facilitate patient care.
• Collaborate with Nursing Director and unit managers to achieve organizational outcomes.
