Job summary

Pscfl is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager for the Cardiac Critical Care unit to lead patient and staff safety and quality within their scope of responsibility.

The role oversees day-to-day operations, coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, manages staffing and payroll processes, and ensures compliance with hospital policies while driving performance and patient-directed care. Requires BSN, Florida RN license, BLS, and 3–5 years of RN leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree BSN from an accredited school is required.
• Florida RN licensure or Multi-State eNLC, active and in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• 3–5 years RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Acts as supplemental Operations Administrator to supervise shift-to-shift operations.
• Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams and customers to drive performance and quality outcomes.
• Identifies LEAN projects and selects tools to review current processes.
• Manages budgets and staffing; monitors variances and aligns with budgetary goals.
• Oversees day-to-day operations and ensures quality services and patient-directed care.
• Collects, analyzes, and reports department data.
• Promotes staff development and process improvements across units.
• Tracks unit customer-service indicators and communicates improvements in meetings.
