Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Nights RN for the PCU Bone Marrow Transplant unit. This role offers a Clinical Ladder pathway with potential salary increases based on experience and advancement within a 36-hour week, night shift, and full-time schedule.

The unit specializes in hematological therapies and follows FACT accreditation standards; BSN preferred, RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

RN license required.
Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
1+ charge nurse or leadership experience preferred; acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform venous access procedures within RN scope, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient responses and needs.
Assess patients to determine venous access methods and address complications.
Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance.
Mentor and precept new staff, provide training and feedback, and support professional development.
