Job summary

Era Living is seeking a part-time Floor Nurse (LPN/RN) for the Memory Care units at The Gardens at Town Square in Bellevue, WA. Available shifts are Friday and Saturday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

The nurse will assess residents, provide health care services, and work with managers to promote health and monitor residents. Ideal candidates will have an LPN or RN credential, be comfortable with dementia care, and communicate effectively with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an approved program (LPN or RN).
• CPR certification required.
• Food handler's certificate or ability to obtain within 14 days of hire.
• Must complete Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and implement health care services.
• Collaborate with Terrace Manager, Assisted Living Manager and Community Health Director for health promotion and monitoring.

Era Living is seeking a part-time Floor Nurse (LPN/RN) to become the newest member of our care team within the Memory Care units at our The Gardens at Town Square community, Bellevue, WA. Available shifts will be scheduled Friday and Saturday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM.

Primary Responsibilities:

TheFloor Nurse will contribute to the assessment of residents, implement health care services and collaborate with the Terrace Manager, Assisted Living Manager and Community Health Director to provide health promotion and monitoring of residents.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to productively communicate with residents living with dementia and their families


• Ability to provide resident and family education


• Ability to use a computer, with Word, spreadsheet, email and internet


• Ability to foster a positive environment and represent Era Living in a competent, professional manner


• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form


• Ability to read, write and communicate in English


• Ability to pass DSHS background check, required

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of School of Nursing either as an LPN or RN


• Must be able to complete Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving


• Two years' experience working with older adults


• Able to provide skilled nursing tasks to older adults


• Must complete Caregiver Mental Health and Dementia specialty training


• Must have current CPR certificate


• Food Handler's Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
