Job summary

Era Living is seeking a full-time Floor Nurse (LPN/RN) for our The Gardens at Town Square community in Bellevue, WA. Shifts are Sunday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with responsibilities including resident assessments, delivering health care services, and coordinating with the Terrace Manager and Community Health Director to promote health and monitor residents.

Competitive compensation: $42.00–$52.00 per hour, plus company-paid CEUs, free meals, parking, and a comprehensive benefits package,

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing program (LPN or RN) with active licensure.
• Current CPR certification and ability to obtain required trainings.
• Experience caring for older adults and ability to work with dementia residents.

Era Living is seeking a full-time Floor Nurse (LPN/RN) to become the newest member of our care team within the Assisted Living units at our The Gardens at Town Square community, Bellevue, WA. Available shifts will be scheduled Sunday - Thursday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM.

Primary Responsibilities:

TheFloor Nurse will contribute to the assessment of residents, implement health care services and collaborate with the Terrace Manager, Assisted Living Manager and Community Health Director to provide health promotion and monitoring of residents.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to productively communicate with residents living with dementia and their families


• Ability to provide resident and family education


• Ability to use a computer, with Word, spreadsheet, email and internet


• Ability to foster a positive environment and represent Era Living in a competent, professional manner


• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form


• Ability to read, write and communicate in English


• Ability to pass DSHS background check, required

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of School of Nursing either as an LPN or RN


• Must be able to complete Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving


• Two years’ experience working with older adults


• Able to provide skilled nursing tasks to older adults


• Must complete Caregiver Mental Health and Dementia specialty training


• Must have current CPR certificate


• Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
