Era Living's The Gardens at Town Square in Bellevue, WA seeks a part-time Floor Nurse (LPN/RN) to join the Memory Care team. Shifts are Friday and Saturday, 6:00AM–2:30PM.

You will assess residents, implement care plans, and collaborate with managers to monitor health and promote well-being. Requirements include nursing degree, current CPR, 2 years’ experience with older adults, and ability to work with residents with dementia.

Qualifications

• Graduate of School of Nursing (LPN or RN).
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Experience with older adults and dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

Era Living is seeking a part-time Floor Nurse (LPN/RN) to become the newest member of our care team within the Memory Care units at our The Gardens at Town Square community, Bellevue, WA. Available shifts will be scheduled Friday and Saturday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM.

Primary Responsibilities:

TheFloor Nurse will contribute to the assessment of residents, implement health care services and collaborate with the Terrace Manager, Assisted Living Manager and Community Health Director to provide health promotion and monitoring of residents.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to productively communicate with residents living with dementia and their families
• Ability to provide resident and family education
• Ability to use a computer, with Word, spreadsheet, email and internet
• Ability to foster a positive environment and represent Era Living in a competent, professional manner
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to pass DSHS background check, required

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of School of Nursing either as an LPN or RN
• Must be able to complete Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving
• Two years’ experience working with older adults
• Able to provide skilled nursing tasks to older adults
• Must complete Caregiver Mental Health and Dementia specialty training
• Must have current CPR certificate
• Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
