Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) to lead Nursing Services and supervise 24-hour operations, ensuring care meets physician orders and Federal/State standards.

Working with the Director of Nursing, you will oversee clinical operations, participate in admissions decisions, and guide staff to maintain high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN in the state practiced.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; at least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total care plans for residents in line with physician orders, regulations, and policies.
• Interpret and communicate policies to nursing staff and monitor practices.
• Participate in admissions decisions and evaluate potential residents as needed.
• Participate in daily/weekly management team meetings to discuss resident status and staffing.
• Ensure compassionate, quality care with adequate staff coverage and proper facility conditions.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
