Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an experienced Clinical Assistant Manager to advocate for efficient, safe, and compassionate nursing care. You will partner with the Clinical Manager to manage personnel, budget, planning, and regulatory standards while promoting professional autonomy on the unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. BSN strongly preferred.
• RN licensure in the state of employment and BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• Minimum of two years in clinical nursing practice; leadership or charge role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of PI Plan initiatives in collaboration with Clinical Manager to improve outcomes.
• Provides feedback/counseling, and assists with discipline to assigned staff as appropriate.
• Provides assigned staff with performance evaluations as defined by HR.
• Supports peer review systems and implements with staff input.
• Creates an atmosphere encouraging staff participation in nursing and hospital activities.
• Ensures staff maintains competencies with unit educator.
