Job summary

This role requires an active RN license with BSN or higher, about two to three years of related experience including at least two years of clinical RN work, and strong leadership and analytical abilities to collaborate with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a registered nurse, BSN or higher.
• Approximately two to three years progressively more responsible related work experience, including at least two years clinical experience as an RN.
• The ability to gain professional competence in nursing care techniques and practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise daily operations of the Unit.
• Direct the delivery of care by department personnel to ensure patient outcomes are achieved.
• Foster and maintain positive working relationships among staff, physicians and medical center personnel to ensure collaboration.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
