Job summary

McLaren Health Care's 12 South Telemetry unit seeks an RN leader to oversee the administration of services and personnel on the assigned nursing unit. The role ensures the nursing care plan meets patients’ physiological and emotional needs while directing care through the team and management staff.

The position requires Michigan RN licensure, a BSN or enrollment in a BSN program, at least 3 years of related experience, 2 years of demonstrated leadership, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice nursing in Michigan.
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program to be completed within 2 years.
• Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years demonstrated leadership performance.
• BLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration and management of services and personnel in the assigned nursing unit(s).
• Direct patient care through leadership of the patient care team and management staff.
• Coordinate patient care resources including staff, equipment and supplies.
• Serve as expert resource to medical center staff and physicians.
