Job summary

Desert Care Network seeks an experienced Nursing Leader to supervise daily operations and mentor nursing staff. You will model professional behavior, delegate effectively, and ensure high-quality resident care across shifts.

You will coordinate with the Director of Nursing, participate in weekend coverage and on-call rotations, and ensure regulatory compliance while managing resources and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
• Must be licensed, certified or registered where required by law.

Responsibilities

• Leads by example to promote excellence in resident care.
• Assumes leadership role for daily operations and takes action.
• Delegates tasks and achieves results through others.
• Reviews care quality using root cause analysis and monitors outcomes.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Participates with nursing staff in care risk identification and resolution.
• Coordinates with the Director of Nursing on planning and evaluation.
• Supervises staff performance evaluations and scheduling.
