Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute at Carolinas Medical Center seeks a Nurse Manager to provide clinical, operational, and personnel leadership for GI/HPB, Transplant Oncology, Sterile Processing, Thoracic Oncology, and the LCI Float Pool.

The leader will help maintain safe staffing, support patient access, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance quality and patient safety initiatives across a complex ambulatory oncology environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• MSN preferred or enrollment within 1 year of hire/transfer date; MSN required within 5 years if only BSN.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• BLS required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead GI/HPB, Transplant Oncology, Sterile Processing, Thoracic Oncology, and Float Pool teams.
• Ensure safe staffing and regulatory compliance across ambulatory oncology.
• Oversee budget and drive cost-effective, high-quality care.
• Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and patient-centered service.
• Support performance improvement and evidence-based practice.
