Job summary

Agile Infusion in New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing who will serve as second-in-command to the Director of Nursing. The role involves a six- to twelve-month transition through clinical immersion, then administrative leadership, with daily travel among New Jersey service locations and on-site presence at every site.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey registered nurse license in good standing.
• Five+ years of infusion nursing experience.
• Two+ years of formal nursing leadership experience with direct reports.
• Strong infusion skills including difficult venous access and central lines/ports.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Infusion nursing certification (CRNI or equivalent) within one year.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care during clinical immersion and ongoing clinical competency.
• Therapy proficiency across biologics, specialty injectables, and pediatric services.
• Vascular access including peripheral and central line/port management.
• Staffing and scheduling across locations; manage callouts and coverage.
• Hiring, onboarding, and competency validation of nursing staff.
• Policy, protocol administration, and quality improvement activities.
• Coordinate with Medical Directors on supervision, orders, and escalation.
