Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Manager of Outpatient Infusion in New Jersey to provide clinical, operational, and administrative leadership for the infusion department. You will oversee staff performance, recruitment, orientation, competency assessment, and quality initiatives to ensure exceptional patient care.

You will collaborate with physicians, pharmacy, infection prevention, and leadership to optimize workflows, ensure safety, and manage budgets while maintaining fiscal stewardship.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Current New Jersey RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certification required.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive nursing experience.
• Recent oncology/hematology nursing experience required.
• Leadership experience in nursing management preferred.
• Experience leading outpatient infusion centers or similar settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Outpatient Infusion department.
• Direct daily operations: patient flow, staffing, scheduling, and productivity.
• Recruit, interview, hire, mentor, coach, and evaluate clinical staff.
• Lead orientation, competency assessment, ongoing education, and performance development.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacy, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize workflows.
• Oversee safe administration of chemotherapy and infusion therapies.
