Job summary

Winnebago-Comprehensive-Healthcare-System seeks an experienced nurse leader to oversee staffing and patient care across the facility, including the inpatient and ED areas. You will supervise nursing and support staff, coordinate resources, and participate in policy development to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The role requires Nebraska RN licensure, BLS, and preferably ACLS/PALS within the first year, with prior ER or critical care leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Nebraska or multi-state licensure.
• Minimum 2–3 years of professional nursing experience; ER/supervisory experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS within first year.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing and support staff across the facility.
• Assist staff with direct patient care when needed.
• Maintain staffing levels to meet patient needs.
• Coordinate resources and equipment usage safely.
