Job summary

Qualifications

• Transcript must be submitted with your application when qualification is based on education.
• Education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education from accredited institutions may be used to qualify for Federal employment.
• Foreign education requires a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with transcript for credit.
• Nursing education must be ACEN/CCNE accredited at the time of program completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Community Living Center (CLC) to residents, with oversight of licensed vocational nurses and nursing assistants as appropriate.
• Coordinate care focused on patient education, self-management and customer satisfaction across the continuum of care.
• Direct and supervise nursing staff, participate in education, orientation, competencies and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes and ensure evidence-based practice.
