Job summary

QLI is seeking an experienced Coordinator of Nursing in Omaha, NE. You will lead and support our nursing and medication aide teams, reinforcing the organization’s culture and mission while ensuring high-quality resident care.

You will help with staffing, onboarding, and ongoing professional development, and serve as an on-call resource when needed. This leadership role partners with the Director of Nursing on competency and compliance across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in Nebraska (or compact license) required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Prior nursing leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior TBI, SCI, CVA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching, and supporting nursing and medication aide team members on a day-to-day basis.
• Protecting and reinforcing QLI's culture and mission.
• Assisting with staffing coverage and scheduling to ensure resident needs are met.
• Supporting onboarding, training, and ongoing development of nurses and med aides.
• Serving as an on-call resource and providing off-shift support and supervision as needed.
• Partnering with the Director of Nursing and Clinical Leadership on team development, competency, and compliance initiatives.
