Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Manager of Nursing and Patient Care Services to provide 24/7 operational leadership for a defined clinical unit within LVHN’s Cedar Crest/Muhlenberg/Hazleton/Pocono campuses. The role focuses on safe, high-quality patient care, staff supervision, and financial stewardship.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, 3 years of unit-level leadership experience, and active RN licensure with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar unit or hospital setting.
• Current RN license in PA (and NJ if applicable) and BLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides 24/7 operational leadership for a defined clinical unit.
• Supervises frontline staff, manages daily staffing and patient care operations.
• Implements policies and strategic initiatives at the unit level.
• Monitors quality, safety, patient experience, and workforce engagement metrics.
• Manages unit budget performance and resource utilization within targets.
• Ensures regulatory and accreditation standards are met and maintained.
• Coaches staff to support professional growth and retention.
• Collaborates with leadership to drive performance improvement and safety culture.
