Job summary

Kaiser Permanente seeks a Nursing Leader to oversee patient care delivery and implement best-practice models across multiple locations. The role includes supervising staff, ensuring safety, and collaborating with physicians and the health care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include resource monitoring, compliance with the Nursing Practice Act and regulatory standards, and promoting professional growth and succession planning within the nursing teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in patient care delivery.
• Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) and minimum five (5) years in business operations, clinical health care, or related field.
• Minimum four (4) years of leadership experience with or without direct reports.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Registered Nurse License (Oregon) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Creates and advocates for developmental opportunities; builds cross-functional relationships.
• Oversees implementation of best-practice models and patient care delivery systems.
• Monitors resources and ensures safe, high-quality patient care across the continuum.
• Ensures compliance with Nursing Practice Act, The Joint Commission and regulations.
• Provides clinical supervision, competency and licensing oversight.
