Job summary

Unitek Learning is hiring a Full-time clinical instructor for AM/PM Vocational Nursing. The role includes classroom, lab, and clinical teaching with evenings/weekends offering a 10% differential.

Clinicals occur off-site at partner hospitals or facilities, with shifts available now. Qualified candidates hold RN or LVN licensure in the applying state, have 3 years bedside experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or 6 years with an Associate), and maintain BLS/immunizations.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN licensure in the state where teaching will occur.
• Minimum 3 years bedside experience with a Bachelor's degree or 6 years with an Associate's degree.
• Able to meet faculty requirements set by the Board of Vocational Nursing.
• Demonstrated current nursing practice knowledge; ability to mentor students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Strong verbal and written communications; ability to work independently and manage clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Teach in classroom, labs, and clinicals; adapt to schedule needs.
• Utilize online activities to enhance course content and learning.
• Review and revise course syllabi within program guidelines.
• Submit program reports to the Director in a timely manner.
• Maintain up-to-date immunizations and BLS certification.
• Keep student attendance, grades, and skills records; support data collection.
