Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Glendale Memorial Hospital is seeking a House Supervisor to oversee nursing staff across patient care units. You will plan work, supervise delivery of care, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

You will monitor staffing, allocate resources, document performance, and coach staff as needed. You will communicate with patients and families about care plans and ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Three years of nursing experience and one year of leadership.
• Current and Active RN license for CA.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and oversees patient care delivery during an assigned shift.
• Monitors and assesses the environment for smooth hospital operations.
• Assesses and allocates resources as needed.
• Provides input to employee performance and assists in coaching staff.
• Documents staffing and administrative records and ensures government compliance.
• Provides nursing care to patients as needed.
• Maintains communication with patients and families regarding care.
