Job summary

SignatureCare Emergency Center is seeking a Facility Nurse Manager to uphold Texas Board of Nursing standards and support the director in coordinating all facility activities. This role focuses on safe, holistic patient care in an emergency setting and staff development across departments, including nursing, radiology, and front office.

The Facility Administrator also serves as Infection Control Nurse, ensuring compliance with CLIA/COLA/TJC standards and contributing to quality improvement and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Baccalaureate or Master’s preferred.
• Current licensure with Texas Board or Compact state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent nursing experience.
• Must hold BLS, ACLS, PALS, or ENPC from an AHA course.
• TNCC & CEN preferred.
• Experience obtaining certification through BNE and state bodies.

Responsibilities

• 24-hour accountability for the facility.
• Lead nursing, radiology, and front office departments; resolve conflicts.
• Serve as primary internal communications contact.
• Monitor patient service feedback and resolve complaints and service issues.
• Oversee hiring, termination, and HR approvals.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate staff performance with Directors.
• Coordinate monthly facility meetings with Facility Medical Director.
• Ensure staff certifications, inspections, and ER policy adherence.
• Cover open nursing shifts when needed; orient new staff.
• Maintain CLIA/COLA/TJC standards in the laboratory and infection control.
• Manage inventory and par levels for patient care supplies.
• Provide direct patient care when required and model expected behavior.
