Job summary

TotalCare Emergency Room in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking a Facility Administrator/Nurse Manager to oversee all facility operations and lead clinical and administrative processes to support patient care.

You will collaborate with departments to develop, implement, and maintain high standards of service, safety, and compliance, while mentoring staff and ensuring effective daily operations and on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to converse with patients.
• Knowledge of operating basic office equipment (multi-line phone, computer, printer, scanner).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead Emergency Center staff and operations.
• Oversee Front Office, Nursing, Pharmacy, Laboratory, and Radiology activities.
• Develop short and long-term departmental goals.
• Prepare staff schedules to maintain adequate coverage.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations.
• Manage supplies, medications, and disposables inventory.
• Resolve patient complaints and provide service recovery when needed.
• Mentor and coach clinical staff and ensure ongoing education.
• Collaborate with HR for interviews and staff management.
• Lead weekly meetings and daily huddles for effective communication.
• Support billing processes and front-office procedures.
