As a Nurse Extern, you’ll support ADLs, assist with vital signs, document care, and engage in learning opportunities to build your clinical skills and confidence. This program is ideal for students progressing through a nursing program.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• CNA certification required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree and enrolled in an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, support mobility and hygiene.
• Perform basic nursing tasks as you gain competency.
• Document care and communicate updates to the nursing team.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Maintain clean, safe patient areas following infection prevention.
• Engage in growth opportunities with your supervisor to plan career development.
