St. Davids North Austin Medical Center in Austin, TX, is seeking a Nurse Extern Float Pool PRN to join the nursing team and gain hands‑on experience as you explore the Registered Nurse role.

You will help provide safe, compassionate care while building skills for more advanced responsibilities as you progress through your nursing program. Your responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, taking vital signs, wound care, documenting care, and communicating timely updates with the team.

Competenze

• Required BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.

Mansioni

• Assist with activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Perform basic nursing tasks and maintain patient comfort.
• Document care and communicate updates with the nursing team.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery.
• Maintain clean, safe patient areas and follow infection control.
