Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed fundamentals in nursing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• CPI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing in carrying out the nursing plan of care and perform tasks under supervision.
• Take and report vital signs within 60 minutes of scheduled time.
• Collect I/Os 30 minutes before end of shift and document accurately.
• Assist with baths, ADLs, feeding and patient positioning.
• Monitor skin integrity and notify nurse of changes promptly.
• Record weight/height and maintain patient environment and equipment.
• Prepare environment for meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Return equipment to SPD and monitor inventory when required.
• Assist with clerical duties related to patient care and documentation.
