Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program and within 1 year of graduation.
• Must be able to graduate from an accredited nursing program on initial anticipated graduation date.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must be able to pass Nursing State Boards within 90 days after graduation or within 60 days from second attempt.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of an RN preceptor, provide direct nursing care appropriate to your training.
• Assist in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care under supervision.
• Support medication administration and IV therapy activities you are trained for.
• Communicate clearly with team members and document patient data in the EMR.
• Observe procedures, participate in patient care planning, and engage in learning activities in the unit.
