You will assist with direct patient care, medication administration, safety tasks, and daily living activities while maintaining a clean, safe environment and reporting observations to the nurse.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Registered Nurse Program approved by the State Board of Nursing.
• BSN students: entering senior year and completed medical/surgical clinical component.
• Diploma/Associate students: entering final year of nursing school.
• Proof of continued enrollment and passing grades each semester; maintain good academic standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under RN preceptor using an interdisciplinary approach.
• Perform nursing interventions and document per policy; medication administration and safety tasks.
• Assist with activities of daily living and transport, report observations to the nurse.
• Demonstrate professional behavior, excellent customer service and communication.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment to prevent infections.
• Other duties as assigned.
