Qualifications

• Currently enrolled student nurses who graduate December 2025–May 2027.
• BSN students who have completed their 3rd year; ASN students who have completed their 1st year.
• Students may remain employed as a Nurse Extern until graduation completion.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care and administrative support under the supervision of a UVA Community Health RN.
• Assists patients with personal care as needed for recovery during hospitalization.
• Provides safe environment and promotes patient health and wellness.
