Job summary

Wythe County Community Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Nurse Extern to join our patient care team on a PRN schedule. You will collaborate with nurses and healthcare staff to deliver direct patient care under RN supervision and document care provided.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited RN program, have completed the first nursing semester, and can obtain BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• Applicants must have completed the first semester of nursing school.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
