Baystate Health is seeking an experienced Director Patient Care Services to provide strategic and operational leadership within our Nursing division at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.

This role oversees administration of clinical and service programs, partners with physicians and leaders to guide planning, operations, and financial stewardship, and drives quality, safety, and patient experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• ADN or BSN required.
• Master’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a healthcare or related clinical environment.
• Experience with strategic planning, operations, HR, and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for assigned clinical and service departments.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies that support high-quality patient care.
• Direct budget development, resource allocation, and financial performance.
• Coach and mentor department leaders and support professional development.
• Foster collaboration across disciplines to improve patient outcomes and operations.
• Lead organizational change initiatives with clear communication and engagement.
