Job summary

CHI Mercy Health in Oregon's Roseburg area is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care that supports patient well‑being and recovery.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement age-appropriate care plans, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Shift: 8:30am–5:00pm; Oregon RN license and certifications required.

Qualifications

  • Oregon RN License required.
  • AHA BLS certification required.
  • ACLS within 90 days of hire.
  • PALS within 6 months of hire.
  • ENPC within 6 months of hire.
  • TNCC within 12 months of hire.
  • 2400 hours of Emergency Department experience within the last 2 years or 2400 hours in last 5 years with TNCC, PALS and ACLS.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Observe, collect, and record data related to patients’ biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and self-care ability.
  • Analyze assessment findings and test results to provide the basis for planning timely and effective nursing interventions.
  • Implement an age-appropriate plan of care.
  • Document and utilize patient data to measure progress toward attainment of patient outcomes and patient goals.
  • Document the care given in a complete and timely manner.
