Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Transition to Practice Clinical Educator to lead clinical education activities and support onboarding, RN residency, and preceptorship programs. The role focuses on standardizing evidence-based education to enhance nursing practice and patient care.

You will deliver courses, assess learning needs, and promote staff development while facilitating a positive learning environment and applying adult education principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• Master's degree in nursing is preferred.
• 2+ years in clinical education, CSC, academia or leadership preferred.
• 2+ years in an Operating Room setting.
• 2+ years in acute care hospital preferred.
• Current RN licensure in applicable states.
• BLS certification required.
• Nationally recognized specialty certification preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 75% in-market.
