Job summary

MFA Clinical Consulting in King, NC seeks an experienced Nurse Educator (RN) to lead the state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program at King Health & Rehabilitation Center. The RN Educator will teach in classrooms, skills labs, and supervised clinical experiences, mentoring students to provide compassionate, high-quality care and to become caregivers ready for entry-level roles.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in NC is required.
• 2+ years nursing experience, 1+ year in long-term care preferred.
• State-approved Train-the-Trainer or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Passion for education, mentoring and clinical excellence.
• Familiarity with OBRA requirements and nurse aide training standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom, skills laboratory, and clinical instruction using the approved nurse aide curriculum.
• Educate, mentor, supervise, and evaluate nurse aide students.
• Develop and maintain lesson plans, attendance, student evaluations, and documentation.
• Create an engaging, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
• Ensure students demonstrate competency before clinical skills.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with center leadership to connect classroom learning with high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Serve as a professional role model and help students transition into healthcare careers.
