Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN).
• NYS Registered Nurse license required.
• ACLS and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a consultant/resource to nursing staff interpreting policy and evidence-based nursing care.
• Oversees onboarding of new hires and transition of new graduates into practice.
• Meets with orientees and preceptors regularly.
• Collaborates with Nursing Education leadership regarding competency of new hires.
• Provides teaching to staff and evaluates competency.
