Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced nurse educator to plan, develop, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate learning resources for clinical and specialty teams.

You will ensure practice aligns with evidence-based guidelines and organizational standards. Responsibilities include providing general and specialty education, supporting preceptor development, and collaborating with unit leadership to maintain staff competency.

Qualifications

• BSN degree or related field required.
• Current Florida RN license and BLS certification.
• National specialty certification required or available.
• 5 years acute care hospital experience, including 3 years in specialty.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate learning resources to maintain or increase team member skills.
• Provide general and specialty-specific education to ensure safe, competent practitioners.
• Develop and oversee Annual Competency Review with Learning Specialists.
• Create educational materials and curriculum to align with policies and procedures.
• Serve as a preceptor for new Learning Consultants and support Learning Specialist roles.
• Participate in committees and process-improvement activities.
