Job summary
AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a part-time nursing educator to teach students during clinical rounds and conferences, develop and deliver instruction with the course coordinator, and assess student performance. The ideal candidate has an RN license, 2+ years of professional nursing experience, and a Master’s of Nursing preferred.
Qualifications
- Masters of Nursing preferred.
- 2+ years of professional experience in the discipline being taught.
- RN license required.
Responsibilities
- Teaches students during clinical rounds and conferences.
- Supports and enforces the course syllabus with the course coordinator.
- Develops, designs and delivers instruction with the course coordinator.
- Grads clinical assignments and reviews evaluations with students.
- Provides guidance and mentorship to students in clinical settings.
- Collaborates with faculty to ensure cohesive educational experiences.
- Maintains records of student performance and progress.
- Engages in professional development to stay current with practices.
