Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
• Current Florida RN license is required.
• National specialty certification must be obtained within 2 years of hire unless not available in certain specialties.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications as department or unit require.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing needs assessments and formulate educational plans.
• Develops and coordinates orientation processes for assigned areas and engages leaders.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives.
• Implement educational programs to enhance nursing staff competence using innovative teaching methodologies.
• Develop evidence-based curricula following ANPD standards for diverse team members.
• Assess and verify competency at the point of care.
• Collaborate with department leadership to review progress and provide feedback.
• Evaluate verification methods and report findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Clinical Learning to enhance staff development.
• Promote participation in professional and organizational initiatives.
• Provide education to ensure knowledge of policies and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in continuous learning and adapt to interdisciplinary projects.
