Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. in Downtown Orlando seeks a Director of Clinical Learning to lead clinical education across the Orlando Health Medical Group. You will design curricula, drive competency assessment, and partner with educators and leaders to ensure evidence-based practice.

You will build a high-performing team, oversee content creation, and monitor outcomes with metrics across multiple sites. A Florida-licensed nurse or nationally certified professional is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of leadership experience including;2 years of education experience.
• Current licensure in the state of FL if nurse; or, National specialty certification in area of practice.
• Graduate degree in nursing, education, health service administration, or health related field required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and manages a comprehensive clinical competency assessment program to ensure meeting all accreditation requirements.
• Builds and maintains meaningful relationships with stakeholders to understand training and educational needs and gain buy-in for strategic plans.
• Lead and develop a high performing team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth to achieve organizational goals.
• Communicates program success metrics, feedback, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Monitors the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback, assessment, and performance metrics, making data driven adjustments to improve outcomes.
• Assists system level leadership in planning, directing, organizing, and facilitating education across the system.
• Aligns educational development and delivery with system needs.
• Collaborates with site and regional educational leaders to assess learning needs across various sites/roles.
• Directs content creation that aligns with strategic imperatives.
• Aligns work and strategy at the system level, incorporating new regions and acquisitions to current processes.
• Mentors new educational leaders throughout the system.
• Ensures that educators across the system engage in ongoing professional development.
