Job summary

The Cancer & Hematology Centers seeks a highly qualified Nurse Educator (RN) to lead education initiatives across our oncology nursing staff. This Registered Nurse will develop, implement, and evaluate onboarding, orientation, competency, and continuing education programs to support patient care excellence.

Qualifications

Licensed Registered Nurse in Michigan.
BSN required; MSN preferred.
Oncology nursing certification preferred (OCN) or obtained within 1 year.

Responsibilities

Develop, revise, implement, and evaluate nurse onboarding, orientation, competency, and continuing education programs.
Partner with nursing leadership to assess learning needs across locations and staff.
Create and provide in-services to educate on new or revised clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
Lead education initiatives to improve patient outcomes, safety, and experience.
