Job summary

Pima Medical Institute in Mesa, AZ, seeks a Nurse Educator to join our college faculty, teaching theory and guiding clinical rotations. This role emphasizes daytime, Monday–Friday hours with no on-call or weekends, offering a stable schedule and meaningful classroom impact.

You will mentor nursing students, align curricula with State Board standards, and contribute to accreditation activities while supporting NCLEX success and student retention.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing is required or a Baccalaureate in Nursing with acceptable credentials.
• Current Arizona RN license in good standing (or active Compact/Multi-State privilege for AZ).
• Minimum of three (3) years of direct patient care as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic and clinical instruction in med-surg, fundamentals, pharmacology, and pathophysiology.
• Supervise and mentor students on hospital rotations with real-time feedback.
• Manage skills labs, assessments, inventory, and student competency checks.
• Provide academic guidance, track progress, and tutor students for NCLEX readiness.
• Assist with admissions support, progression, and graduation compliance.
