Job summary

The Iowa Veterans Home is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about teaching to join the Education team as a full time Nurse Educator.

The RN will be the lead instructor and facilitator for the organization's 76-hour CNA program and will assist in developing and presenting education to all staff through New Employee Orientation and ongoing offerings, while also supporting the organization in a clinical capacity.

Qualifications

• RN license in Iowa is required.
• Experience in nurse education or teaching is expected.
• Experience leading CNA programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructor and facilitator for the 76-hour CNA program.
• Develop and present education to staff through orientation and ongoing offerings.
• Support organization through clinical nursing duties as needed.
• Collaborate with the Education team to enhance learning initiatives.
