The role focuses on designing activities to close knowledge and skills gaps, collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer, and serving as a clinical resource to drive professional development across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school of Nursing.
• RN license in Texas or LVN with post-acute nursing experience.
• At least four years of nursing clinical experience.
• Nursing professional development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with leadership to tailor the educator program based on evaluation results.
• Designs educational activities to address practice gaps for licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Develops activities to improve knowledge, skills, and clinical practice.
• Engages with internal and external stakeholders to advance professional development.
• Delivers core learning activities across the organization.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians and staff in a customer-service oriented manner.
• Serves as a clinical resource and supports ongoing learning across sites.
• Travel to post-acute facilities in the Greater Houston area to support staff.
