Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse Educator for a contract position at Milton Hospital in Milton, MA. The role focuses on education, orientation, and professional development within the acute care setting.

You will serve as educator, consultant, researcher, facilitator, role model, mentor, and leader for nursing staff. The ideal candidate holds a BSN with MA licensure, and has experience in PACU, ENDO, OR, and Central Processing, plus BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts license current.
• BSN required; MSN in education or CNS preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• BLS and ACLS instructor certification required prior to start.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience; critical care experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Educator, consultant, researcher, facilitator, role model, mentor and leader within the acute care setting and nursing division.
• Assess staff educational needs, plan, coordinate, conduct and evaluate programs such as orientation and other offerings to promote adult learning and professional development.
• Align activities with Nursing Division’s philosophy, goals and objectives.
