Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Registered Nurse Educator for Endoscopy/PACU in Milton, MA. The role demands 2+ years of educator experience in PACU/Endoscopy, ACLS/PALS, active MA RN license, and the ability to manage post-anesthesia recovery. Travel assignments across multiple facilities are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical nurse educator experience in PACU and/or Endoscopy.
• ACLS and PALS certification per contract requirements.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Observe and treat patients postoperation and ensure safe awakening from anesthesia.
• Monitor vital signs and level of consciousness during recovery.
• Ensure sedation wears off properly and monitor for adverse reactions.
