United Health Services (UHS) Nurse Educator leads education programs to promote clinical excellence and staff development. The role mentors, coaches, and supports onboarding and credentialing while shaping training standards and preceptor development.

This is part of an innovative pilot program for workforce development. Responsibilities include orientation facilitation, competency validation, and collaboration with operational leaders to identify educational needs and deliver evidence-based

Qualifications

• BSN required; 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Preferred Master’s degree in Nursing or related field; teaching experience valued.
• RN license in New York; CPR within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead orientation and onboarding for new staff.
• Support competency validation and credentialing requirements.
• Design, implement, and evaluate the Internal MOA Training Program; develop preceptor initiatives.
• Partner with operational leaders to identify educational needs and promote ongoing learning.
