Chippenham Hospital is seeking a Nurse Educator in Richmond, VA. You will lead onboarding, orientation, and competency programs for nursing and clinical staff, collaborating with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to drive evidence-based education.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in nursing; Master’s is preferred, along with 2+ years in clinical education and current RN licensure. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required
• Master’s degree in nursing preferred
• 2+ years of experience in clinical education, CSC, academia or leadership preferred
• 2+ years of experience in acute care hospital preferred
• RN license in state of practice or active compact state license required
• Nationally Recognized Specialty certification preferred
• Basic Life Saving (BLS) required
• Travel up to 25% may be required

Responsabilités

• Participates in onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel
• Delivers orientation/onboarding programs to promote employee retention
• Coordinates with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to adjust programs based on evaluations
• Develops and evaluates competency initiatives and education activities
• Designs educational activities to address practice gaps for licensed and non-licensed staff
• Promotes evidence-based practice and supports research, EBP, and quality improvement in patient care settings
