Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions in Warden, WA is seeking a Nurse Educator to plan, develop, coordinate and deliver orientation and educational content for new and existing nursing staff, while overseeing the nurse residency program.

The role includes facilitating cert classes for ACLS, PALS, and other provider certifications, and collaborating with nursing leadership to enhance nursing skills through ongoing education opportunities. This is a full-time exempt position with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Washington RN license required.
• ACLS/PALS instructor status preferred.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience in acute care within the previous 7 years.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing education.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and deliver orientation and education to new and existing nursing staff and oversee the nurse residency program.
• Facilitate and teach certification classes for Healthcare Providers (ACLS, ACLS-OB, PALS, NRP, TNCC and ENPC).
• Work closely with nursing managers, nursing staff and education staff to support the development and maintenance of nursing skills through educational opportunities.
• Reports to the CNO.

TITLE: Nurse Educator

LOCATION: Warden, WA

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing required, Master's degree in nursing or a related field preferred. Current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
• CPR and ACLS/PALS instructor status preferred.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience in acute care within the previous 7 years. Minimum 2 years of experience in conducting nursing education.

Hours and compensation potential:

• This is a full-time, salary exempt position.
• Range is $115K-$144K depending on experience.
• Full benefits package including relocation assistance(5K).
