White River Health System Inc. is seeking an Education Specialist to coordinate the Summer Nurse Extern Program, manage student clinical placements, and strengthen partnerships with local nursing education programs in Batesville, AR.

The role supports nursing workforce development and education initiatives, including BLS supervision, HealthStream troubleshooting, and onboarding activities. This is a grant-funded position focused on building a robust student-to-employee pipeline.

Competenze

• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in nursing education, clinical education, student coordination, recruitment, workforce development, or related healthcare education setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish positive relationships with students, faculty, clinical instructors, staff, and community partners.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Mansioni

• Coordinate Nurse Extern Program recruitment through completion and schedules, orientation, clinical experiences, and participant support.
• Serve as a primary student pipeline coordinator and coordinate with nursing programs and clinical instructors.
• Support recruitment efforts to encourage students to pursue employment with White River Health.
• Provide BLS support and assistance with HealthStream troubleshooting and required education.
• Assist with Education Department events, programs, and educational initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Education Manager.
